WELCOME TO BANFF

For as long as I can remember, I spent my summers in Banff with my dad. And when I was old enough to work, I picked up part-time jobs and made great friends along the way. Some of my fondest memories are working and living here throughout the summer months, so much so, that when I graduated from university, I decided to make Banff my permanent home. I started my career in journalism and communications in the community, eventually running for council, then mayor.
Working in Banff is a life-changing experience. You get to meet friends from around the world whose impact will stay with you forever. You also get to live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet full of hiking, camping, and biking opportunities in the summer, as well as highly sought out skiing in the winter. Millions of people come to our neck of the woods each year to take in everything the town and the national park have to offer. Living here, you get to experience that lifestyle daily.
Maybe you’ll decide to make Banff your permanent home, or maybe you’ll only spend a season exploring and making connections with like-minded individuals. Either way, you’re going to have a wonderful time in Banff, and you’ll make memories to last a lifetime.
Enjoy your time here and get involved in community as much as you can. There are special mountain moments awaiting you.
